Many say their art-making has been a life-long calling, beginning in childhood.
For Ann it was not until retiring in 2010, that she turned to painting.

In this new-found space and time, feelings and memories spontaneously emerged that she felt compelled to express on canvas through colour, symbols, figures and lines. These elements appear very organically in a multi-layered process that she cannot plan nor control no matter how she might try!

And yet somehow it all comes together to create pieces that her lovely collectors have said they never tire of—work that makes them smile each time they see it, paintings that feel like a part of the family. This is the highest compliment in her mind.
